Ok I know some of you wants to play Age of Empires Online but most of you doesn’t know how to run the game because you keep having product key issues and don’t know how to resolve it. Well to tell you, there’s no need for a product key because the game is totally free. Anyway will give you a quick guide how to run and play the game, yappooo.

Step 1: Download the game from here.

Step 2: After you downloaded the game, run the client, it will open Microsoft Games for Windows. Just wait for it because it is downloading the game to your computer. After the game is installed, run it so that it will be patched to the latest version.

Step 3: Click play, accept license and agreement and you will be logged in to the game. After that it will totally asked you for a live id. You can get one from here. Click Join now on top right corner. On the Free Column, scroll down and click Join Xbox Live.

After that, you will be redirected to a page that looks something like this:

Enter your email address and click next. I recommend you to enter an email that is not registered to MSN or any microsoft websites to avoid confusion.

Step 4: Ok, you’ve already entered your email, after clicking next, it will redirect you to a page where you will fill out your information. Fill out all the fields and click Accept. After filling out the information and clicking Accept, you will be redirected to a page saying, Welcome YourName, you have just created an XBox Live account. Click Continue found on the bottom right corner. Then you’re done you finally have an account to be used for Age Of Empires Online.

You think we’re done? Not yet! Lets proceed!

Step 5: After creating an account, go back to your Age Of Empires Online and login using your access and click Sign In. After that it will download your profile and all you need to do is wait. After that you’re finally done. You can now select your empire and start playing Age Of Empires Online.
